Would user mind posting their Recoil ii benchmarks?

May I suggest Firestrike scores as well? With the separate scores for graphics, Physics (CPU), combined, and overall scores.

I've added in the ones from the PCS Review specs below:
Kitguru:hwupgrade.itBit-Tech
Cinebench Single175--
Cinebench Multi105510501059
Firestrike GPU11323--
Firestrike Physics14660--
Firestrike Combined---
Firestrike Overall9994-9888

Basically I'm just jealous of people whose laptops are better than my desktop...

Are you concerned your system is underperforming?

On the NBR thread people are achieving higher numbers with either alternative BIOSes or modifying with Throttlestop and other software. I am really interested in what the standard PCS version of the laptop should be.

I just observed my Cinebench CPU score drop to 880 just by installing an alternative newer version of the Control Center because PL1/PL2 were both set to 35W according tor XTU. I have now sent a message to PCS asking them for their latest version.

This is with no Control Center installed.

It looks like your laptop is performing as expected - or at least was until you installed that software that nerfed the power limit for the CPU. Can you uninstall it and reinstall whatever version is available on your PC Specialist account?

You need to stress both the GPU and CPU at the same time. I get 1200 cinebench but TERRIBLE fps in games because of permanent throttling when the dGPU is being used.

FPS shouldn't be terrible even if there is some throttling. What's the full spec and your individual firestrike scores? bearing in mind one of the firestrike tests does stress both.

Which power adapter do you have, 150/180W ?

There's a great review of another system builder's version of this laptop with lots of tips for getting the maximum performance, am I allowed to post that link here?

Might be a slightly grey area of the rules, but as long as it's a review and not an advert I'd say it's probably fine. Mods have certainly posted links to reviews of chassis resold by other companies on sites like Notebookcheck for example. Feel free to post it, worst that will happen is that another mod disagrees and removes the link :)

Also only worth posting if it's relevant to the Recoil I suppose - for instance if that vendor has very specially adapted control centre software different to what the Recoil and other sellers use, it's not going to help people here. Unless you can do exactly the same things via XTU or the stock software.

I'd agree, for the help it provides I'd say it's allowed, so long as it's not unduly promoting a competitor.
