Recovery Image Options

Afternoon all,

Looking to buy a new laptop, just one question as the information on the main site doesn't appear to exist (no info on the '?')

Regarding recovery image options, if paying for a USB stick, do you still have the default option of downloading the image through your account always available? To put another way, is the USB option in addition to the download through account or does it replace the download option?

It'd be bonkers if it replaced it, so I assume it's additional... though you could call and ask.

You can always just make your own Windows install media direct from the MS site, and make your own system images with free Macrium Reflect on a periodic basis anyway.

Thanks for the swift reply! Yes, it would indeed be bonkers to replace it as an option but I just wanted to make sure. I did try calling but it's lunch time
