Rendering/Gaming PC help please

Hi all

I've been looking around at different builds within my budget for a while and I think this may do the job, but I would really appreciate some opinions form people who know what they're doing (I have very basic understanding, but that's about it!). It'll be used mostly for rendering in Daz, and for casual gaming on things like Cyberpunk, Total War, etc.

Many thanks for your time and help!

Hi Nursemorph

Many thanks for the reply. I was hoping to stay around £2000 ish, but would be will to push up by a couple of hundred if there was anything that would really help. As for the monitor, at the moment I just have a Benq GL2450. This would be something I would consider upgarding later down the line

I've been looking into monitors and can't believe how oblivious I was to just how much of an impact they can have (only thought it mattered for top level design or pro gaming). I really only play single player RPGs/strategy games, and my design level is aimed at only good hobby level, so would anyone have any tips for a good budget monitor that would be fine for this?

What's your budget for the monitor?

For a 1440p 144Hz which would pair well with @Nursemorph build above you'd be looking around £350

Thanks for the reply. I think £350 would likely be as much as I could go for now
Ah, managed to find one on special. This is a fantastic monitor for the price at £290, it's 1440p 144Hz Freesync, you'll only push about 80FPS with the RTX2060 but gives you room to grow into with future GPU upgrades.

Sorry, hopefully the last question! I've gotten this message when I click though the amended build?

We note that you have selected an M.2/PCI-E SSD drive and a mechanical hard drive under the primary hard disk drive option. Please confirm whether you would like your operating system (OS) to be installed on the SSD drive or on the mechanical hard drive:

You’ll want to put the OS on the SSD drive so you can take advantage of the faster boot and loading of programs.
