Replacement keyboard

I have a 17.3" Optimus VIII 1060 and I've got dead keys on the keyboard. I'm trying to get hold of a replacement keyboard but when I look in the spare parts page on PCSpecialist it always say the keyboards are out of stock. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Thanks in advance.

There are a few official clevo stockists about.

Can you get the chassis model number? Should be on a label on the underside

Thanks for the response. There are a few numbers on the underside. There's one marked Model, which is N87OHP

Is that the one you need?

So found this, it's a US layout so just the @ and " swapped over

Some official stockists, although it's a little challenging to work out exactly what model is the correct one, you may want to email them for advice

I have the same issue with my 17.3'' Cosmos VI N85-N870HL. Laptop is great but some keys are no longer working. Problem started one day that I typed with wet hands.

* Could a cleaning fix the issue?
* Do you repair laptops / change keyboards like this one?
* Are you also based in Belgium?
* Do you have keyboard replacement?
* Otherwise, can I buy replacement somewhere else?

I currently live in Belgium and could not stay without the laptop for one week.

What would you suggest?

Thanks,

Adolfo

None of us work for PCS, we're just volunteers.

PCS are based in Wakefield in the UK and have a base in Netherlands also.

If you bought it from PCS then they can fix it, you can create an RMA through your PCS account. If it's just a keyboard and they have some in stock they can ship it to you for you to fit yourself.

If they have any in stock, you can order one again through your online account in the upgrades section.

* Do you have keyboard replacement?
You'd need to ask PCS, their contact details are on their website at www.pcspecialist.co.uk

* Otherwise, can I buy replacement somewhere else?
Same advice as above.

That's great, I'll have a look through that info. Thanks so much for your time.
