Replacement Screen for 15.6" OPTIMUS V

Hi all,

Last Christmas I stood on my laptop while putting up our Christmas tree. Cracked the screen. Clever.

Decided I can't live with the crack anymore. The machine is getting a tad raggedy all over but I can't afford a replacement so looking to stretch it out by replacing the screen.

I bought it in 2014, it's an 15.6" OPTIMUS V. Is a direct replacement available from PC Specialist? Where else could I find one?

If you log onto your main PCS account and go to the upgrades section, you’ll be able to order a screen there IF they’re still in stock.

If they’re not available, eurocom are good for clevo parts

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't look like the screen's in stock. Will have a look elsewhere.

There's a spare parts section as well as the upgrades - though that didn't list screens for the Optimus III I bought.

You could always call PCS and see if they can source you one, then compare to whatever other options if they can give you a quote.
