Replacing my 6.5 year old PC Specialist desktop..

Hi Guys,

So I'm now ready to replace my 6.5 year old PC (and pilfer the SSD from it), and after all that time the only issue I've had with it is some fan errors which have only developed in the last month or so - which I think is pretty incredible.

I do photography and design work on it, only a little bit of basic video and I do game as well (though not highly graphics demanding games) - so it's to encompass all those things, which is why I've chosen the components I have.

My intention is to also make this one last 5+ years :)

Below is my current spec (including a GTX 560 card) and my proposed spec. Does anyone have any reservations about any of the components I've chosen, or their compatibility with each other? Thanks in advance!

What's the budget? And what did that spec cost?

What software do you use?

What resolution and refresh rate do you game at?

@Oussebon

Sorry - should have been a little more specific.

I'd say the budget is £2,500 max, that setup is £2,300. I've adjusted it slightly and gone for the 1660 Super instead of the standard, taking it up for £2,336.

I'll be using the Adobe suite, and I game at 1080p. I'd like to upgrade to a 4k monitor at some point (for photos/design work), but wouldn't be bothered about gaming at that resolution.
