Request: Gaming Laptop Configuration

I brought a desktop through PCSpecialist back in 2018 that's still holding up great, but now I'm thinking of getting a laptop for gaming.

I would post a build, but I'll be honest and say... I'm still just as clueless as I was last time, ha ha!

Here's what I'm looking for:
  • Ideally, I want it to be able to run Genshin Impact and Final Fantasy XIV smoothly while also looking nice
  • I usually keep other things open in the background, such as Discord and Chrome (YouTube for music and general Googling of things)
  • Good build quality! I've had two laptops in the past (not from PCSpecialist) that failed within a short time
  • Good cooling (not just for the laptop's sake, but mine also as I'm sensitive to heat)
  • Good Wi-Fi connectivity (this is one of my desktop's shortcomings)
  • Windows 10
And these aren't as important, but would be nice:
  • Something that's reasonably sized/lightweight (I'm disabled and moving around something too big or heavy might pose issues)
  • The keyboard to be backlit
  • A Blu-ray player
Budget-wise... I don't know? Anything under £1,000 would be great (my desktop was £728). Admittedly, I don't know how possible that is with what I want, however.

I'll do my best to answer any questions, otherwise I'll say thanks in advance!

How tight is your budget? Even a GTX 1650 spec is going to cost more than £1k (Which I wouldn't recommend).

Hem, so, as @barlew said, you will no find many thing custom made at this price ^^'
i did a config for a friend of mine to play to ff14, and the minimum budget was something like 1.6k euros, so, something like 1.4£
(it was a elimina chassis with a 3060)
So, if your budget can't be maxed at this kind of price, maybe you should look for a premade laptop ?^^"

@Roboenza97 This is the lowest spec I would recommend right now but it is slightly over your budget. Ordinarily I would recommend you an AMD build but that would be a couple of hundred quid more expensive. If you can stretch to it I would also recommend you buy the silver warranty.

I think the minimum I could get a chassis down to would be around d £1250 I'm afraid.
Okay! Well, taking all of that into consideration, I've decided it'll be worth it to spend a bit more. I'm going to set a new budget at... £1,500 to £1,600? (I can always save up!)

Again I would recommend stretching and adding dead pixel protection and silver warranty.

I'd go for the 512gb 980pro samsung as primary ssd thought
and maybe going for the 5600x as cpu, so you can stay under the 1600£ limit ^^

At this price point I would definitely take the better CPU over a faster M.2 drive. The drive can be upgraded later the CPU can't.

It's a DTR, of course you can upgrade it later ;)
Joke aside, your point is a good one, but if I'm not wrong, the 5600 is already a pretty good cpu, it's the one my sis' have in her destian
Anyway, I think it's indeed easier to swap a ssd than a cpu, so, let's go for your spec ^^
