anyone know what the returns policy is on a 10 day old laptop? with the screen protectors still on? used twice?!
thanks
thanks
Is there anything actually wrong with the Laptop?

only after spending over a thousand pounds on a laptop to then find as soon as i recieve my laptop that they're offering the choice of newer cpu's and larger capacity batteries - you'd imagine how i felt.
if i'd have been informed after i placed my order that in a few days the 'revised' i7m chips would be available then i'd be fine
Yes, it was just an examplenvidia 700s coming out next week??? have they skipped the 600s or was that an example??!!
This does tend to happen with PC hardware though, the moment you get your hands on some and get home, its out of date already, sometimes you can be lucky and you'll have the highest thing there is for a little while, other times it will be replaced very quickly.I'm talking a few hours of use!!
There's plenty of info around on the web - if you'd done some research you would have known the new chips were due - Intel roadmaps are plastered everywhere.
if you look on the intel website, the new i7 2760QM isn't even listed in the cpu lineups
True but there are similar listed and like Rakk says it's a bit pot luck when you order - if you waited for the 'latest' hardware you would never order anything (been there, done that!)
For example, if you do some digging and find out that nVidia's new 700 range of GPUs is due out in a week, it might not be the best idea to order a 680 this week.
