I bought the PC in the attached from Currys - who have themselves very useless (the first 2 machines wouldn't even post on boot up, second would power up. So when i got a third that finally worked i was happy. However the intake fans were a bit temperamental and the lights. Having a poke around the wiring looms a narrowed it down to a a particular wire/connection (the wire eventually fully broke off from the power connecter
Does anyone know what the wire is called as PC Specialist have had 1 attempt to send me a replacement and sent the incorrect, i have sent the below pictures and not heard anything back. At this point for the sake of a couple quid I'm willing to pay for the wire myself now.
Oh yeah, and i forgot to mention that the motherboard was not screwed into place, only the graphics card was holding the motherboard in place (wasnt doing a good job of it either!)
Any help would be apreciated
Picture one connects to the PSU
Picture 2 is split from the initial sata PSU connecter into a 4 pin connection
The other end is then threaded through the machine to the rgb/fan control at to top of the front panel
