i think we need to have a vote on changing @AgentCooper's title from 'THE HAND OF MOD' to 'MOST HOLY CAKE PROVIDER' given the sheer amount of cake he has provided so far :D

Ah yes! Sure, remember 'the parting of the red velvet sponge cake'? Or that time at the last supper when they ran out of food and he said "let there be cake". Which was great until everyone realised he turned the drinks into cake too 😬

Just received my rig after the 5 month wait and I have to say, I am very disappointed in the person that built this and can't believe they tried to pull this off. They tried to jam all the cables in the back and close the cover when you can clearly see it does not fully shut. This eventually caused the cover to push the glass panel and completely smash it. I hope no one else here experiences this issue

Just received my rig after the 5 month wait and I have to say, I am very disappointed in the person that built this and can't believe they tried to pull this off. They tried to jam all the cables in the back and close the cover when you can clearly see it does not fully shut. This eventually caused the cover to push the glass panel and completely smash it. I hope no one else here experiences this issue
Man, that sucks, have you spoken to PCS?

Does anyone know if you can arrange to collect your PC from PCS instead of having it delivered?
Article 5.5 from the terms and conditions:

You may collect the Goods from our premises by arranging this with us in advance. Please ensure that you have valid identification at the time of collection to demonstrate proof of your name and order address.

They had to put a stop to this when COVID was at it’s worst but you may now be able to arrange this with them. It’d be worth calling to see what the current state of play is.

Thanks for getting that information! I bet you’re thinking “lazy sod” 😂

PCS is a 55 min drive away so I would much prefer to pick it up. I’ll call them and update the thread

I have indeed spoken to them, they said they might be able to send me a new side panel but i will probably have to get it sent back :( they said someone else will call me tomorrow regarding the situation

They have done it before where they've just sent out a replacement side panel, but if the cable routing is that bad, then they'll probably want to redo it I'm guessing.

Ugh, I guess that's what happens when you have to quickly expand the workforce and rookie errors pop up every so often. Hope you get it sorted and that it's a one-off! Will be checking mine carefully :)

Man that sucks, that looks like a 5000X too, cable management in there is a breeze
 
Well they said it would be dispatched on Wednesday (a week after it went into testing). Well its still in testing with no update. Really lost faith in these guys. 8 working days of testing? Either something is wrong with the system or am I being fed porkies?
