Haven't switched it on yet but I gotta say, I've never seen such a tidy PC! That Fractal case is pretty smart :)
Either that or they forgot to plug in all the hard drives and stuff, but hey!

3080/5900x build - Can't believe its actually happening! At around 75ish working days I started to get really bad in terms of anticipation, so I tried to completly put it out of my mind expecting 95wd minimum (if I was lucky). I can stop pretending im not uncontrollably excited now. It also means I can start the process of moving my current PC downstairs as a dedicated vr rig... Great start to the week!

I've been lurking this thread for a while now, but I saw this and started to feel more optimistic about mine going into build... only to find out mine has also gone into building today at 81 days! Hope everyone else waiting sees the same thing soon!

OMG I’m on 79 days myself so there is a possibility that I may even get mine on my birthday which is the 30th!!

Are there no spare cables in your welcome pack?
There was a spare pair of SSD to MB cables which I found but now struggling to get the pc to find the 2tb HDD that came preinstalled, my SSD and HDD that I put in and ok, and when I look in disk management the 2tb hdd it isnt there but in system information under disks it is? Any clues how I get that working? Also RGB fans dont appear to be working? Cooler and its fans is but not the additional fans

Thanks man. I don't want to jinx anything but the way the wait times have been decreasing lately makes me feel quite optimistic about 3080 supplies, so fingers crossed the lead times decrease further (y)
I know I’m not queueing for one, so it’s not the same, but I’m feeling that optimism also, for the last couple of weeks, the build tiles have been getting nearer and nearer, it’s brilliant 🤩

No way! That's crap man. Have you had any progress? Hoping it's just some loose wiring 😬 At least PCS support is top notch so, any issues should get resolved quickly 🤞🏽 good luck Rouchie.

This probably isn’t the best place to start getting into it, if it’s still not coming together by tomorrow post a thread in the tech support section (including the full system specifications of your build) and we’ll see if we can assist 👍

My story started on 17th Feb 2021 where I put together a 2k budget VR gaming build, which Agent Cooper was kind enough to do some tweaking on. My order was finally placed on 5th April. In the time since I have gone through various stages of joy, disappointment, anguish, regret, denial and nervous anticipation for my new PC. In that time I have made a few upgrades along the way and thanks to these forums, Agent Coopers and many others very helpful advice and suggestions, I have put together a great looking system. Also the extra time allowed me to 'expand' the budget a bit!

And now after 81 working days the finish is in sight:

Now my theory is that after a constant barrage of upgrades, PC Specialists were worried if much more time passes they would end up building me a super computer, such as the one in Superman III or the one they Gary and Wyatt connected to in Weird Science to assist in building a real life woman (love Kelly LeBrock in that!).

These Forums and especially this post have keep me going, pushed thoughts of cancelling out of my mind and kept me focused on the end goal. I was looking forward to my cake but I can honestly say that I am happy to pass it to the next poor soul (I imagine a ROG Strix 3080 soul).

I would like to thank Agent Cooper, Scott, StevyG and all the forum members. I would also like to thank PC Specialist for their great communication and for allowing all my upgrades along the way. I would also like to thanks my Mum, the little baby Jesus (or maybe baby Grogo even) and all the Marvel films I have watched during my long 81 working days wait.

Keep strong my build pals and never lose hope!
