102 days in pre-prod as of today. I asked chat what the latest 3080 stock situation was yesterday when there started to be a bit of movement on the thread and was told 10 cards were in stock but it's unlikely they would reach my order. 🙈 Resilience training continues! Zen mode activated!

will dropping to a 3070 from a 3080 dramatically decrease the wait time? my fear is at the age of 29 i may pass away with old age by the time my 3080 gets here. Seeing some of you guys on 100+ days and im genuinly thinking its going to be into winter time before i get mine as im only on 33 days. Do you guys think the wait time would drop?

Past performance is no indicator of future success, but I've seen people switch to 3070s on this thread and get it much faster than I've waited

Check the 3070 thread, seen people in building between 10-40ish days depending on other components. I'd imagine you'd be somewhere near the front as it goes by order date.

Nobody writes on the Italian forum, but here, thanks to you, I always have an idea of how things are moving.
I am 65 days of waiting, and I will continue to wait until my time comes :love:

Just got an email saying my motherboard is out of stock. Do I have to reply to the email saying what to change it to, or do it online? Cheers

out of interest..... are we able to "collect" our systems from pcspecialist? or does it "have" to be delivered?

Enquiring, as i can see they are based at Wakefield, which is only half an hours drive from where i am. (and a glass cased system through DPD does tend to make me clench up a bit) :oops:

oh yes good idea. Same not far. Would love to collect. Cant trust these delivery guys. no way!

I've just asked on live chat and they said.... "collections we cannot guarantee but once it is "awaiting dispatch" you can contact us and we can see if it is possible - will depend on staff available at the office" Sounds like it's worth asking the question when you get to that stage
