Hi there,
I know this is probably a no but i was wondering if i will be able to use this monitor on my current system while my beast is still in pre production. I know i won't be able to get the ultra awesome setting but was wondering if i can run it at basic settings? current specs below

Sure, I had the monitor running on a 1080 and was performing very well with descent settings so with some small amount of tweaking you'll be able to drive the monitor. I'm not sure if you'll be able drive the monitor at 240 Hz at its full resolution (I didn't try) but it worked fine at 120Hz for me.

Just expect to adjust settings to suit :)
