Seeking advice re possible spec for a PC to run mainly Photoshop

Hi I have attached possible Spec for a PC.
It will be primarily used for Photoshop (and some Lightroom) with occasional games but latter not important.
Some of my photoshop images are large (over 1GB) and looking to future proof when buy a new camera which is likely to have larger files and thus Photoshop files even bigger.
Preferably reasonably quiet system sought.

Logic of hard drives /M2 is that Samsung fast for OS and Applications, second M2 cheaper but allows fast processing of recent images whilst the mirrored hard drives will protect the older material. (Also backed up elsewhere.)

Have gone for aircooled as want minimal maintenance and truthfully know little about the watercooled systems

Cost is an issue and any advice would be gratefully received.

Also does anyone know
a) If one of the mirrored disks fail - how do you know?
b)to replace must it be identical or just same size
c)Looking to also get a 10 bit monitor - I understand that new Nvidia studio driver means 1660Ti will now work at 10 bit in Open GL for photoshop ( was only Quadro cards before) - Am i understanding this right?

many thanks for your help.

It's tricky. For your uses, you might actually benefit from the more than 32gb RAM.

If the archived material is also backed up elsewhere, drop the 2nd HDD.

Besides, RAID isn't really the best backup strategy anyway.

Are you sure you need a 2TB SSD for recent images?

I'd ideally suggest the 9900k CPU, a better motherboard, and a better quality PSU (TXm series).

Hi thanks
If I drop the second hdd, raid and second Ssd to take up your suggestions which motherboard would you suggest?
Could also swap to 7200rpm harddrive if you think a good idea.

Is the air cooling ok or would you suggest water cooler and if so which one.

Finally do you know the answer to question c

Many thanks for your help. 😀
