silent mini-pc with two hard drives

I would like
  • small tower case
  • silent
  • low power
  • 2 internal hard drives
  • internal n-wireless

I don't mind not having an optical drive, to make space for the second hard disk. The system below is almost right, but the config form does not allow me to pick a second HD instead of an OD: will it fit in the box?

Is the internal n-wireless possible?

Is there a slightly different case that can make all this possible?

You won't be able to have 2 hard drives in a mini pc as they are designed to be compact and it's optical drive isn't the same as the traditional block ones you get in a desktop. Since the motherboards are small and don't have much space for flexibility.

You won't be able to add an internal wireless N to it as there isn't enough room but it could be possible if you phone PCS up but don't I think it's possible due to the layout and design of the case since it doesn't have a pci backplate.

If you want all of that then you would be best to go for a small desktop pc.

Is there a budget that you're working on? Also what are your usage for the pc?

Teaz has hit the nail on the head really.

I'm afraid we our mini-pc range cannot accommodate two HDDs, even if we sacrificed the optical drive as the tray/bay where the optical drive fits will not house a HDD. Again, it's the same situation with the Wireless Card, if we could fit it inside the PC, we would as it would much more convenient but there is simply no room. However, our AMD bases mini PCs do have Wireless built into them as standard, see here.

Update: we can add a second HDD, at the cost of a your optical drive, but it will invole a bit of "tinkering" with the system to make it all fit. We will have to drill two internal holes into the supporting plastic bay which you won't notice at all as it's all hidden away internally.

We cannot however fit an internal wireless adapter at present.

Would those drives be the small drives you place in laptops or the standard size drives?
