Software Reinstalls When Launching

Hi,

When I try to launch any Office program it suddenly attempts to reinstall Office. If another user attempts to launch anything, it attempts to reinstall another certain piece of software.

I have tried a repair on Office to fix the issues when I'm logged in but it hasn't fixed the problem.

Does anyone know what is causing this to happen and how to fix it?

Could this be a problem with the software installation components?

I also forgot to mention this is on XP.
