There will be continued stock deliveries as well though remember. It's not as if it's a closing down sale, everything out of stock will already be on order :)

It's a tricky time for ordering, PCS have been swamped anyway with the Covid-19 crisis increasing the amount of people working from home. Add to that the most hyped GPU launch of all time and now AMD are getting everyone excited with the next-gen Ryzen. It's all about supply and demand, unfortunately the demand is outstripping the supply...

Looks like the Case is arriving in stock on 20th of Oct. I will wait until then, them i'm putting the order through and upgrade the CPU on arrival. My built might not be ready by 5th of Nov anyway, due to 3080 demand and it looks like is a queue too...

Also with the new CPU's might have to wait for new motherboards too...meaning more waiting...I might as well order the built with a 3900XT and be done with.

No new motherboards announced as yet, but they will come. It'll just be a chipset upgrade, not a socket or compatibility one.

The 570 Strix would be the model of choice for the 5900X+

I’ve heard rumours that new boards may be announced in January, but they’re very early rumours.

Thanks for all the advices guys. I will indeed push the order button tonight when i reach home and contact the team with the following requirements before shipping my built:
- corsair 680x case
- 5900x CPU if it works with the motherboard from my built.

As Scott said, i need to be in that 3080 queue as soon as. If i get my build shipped before Christmas break, then is mission succeded for me.

Also i will source the monitor from elsewhere in the meantime.

Cheers again gents!

Good afternoon everyone,

Managed to order my build eventually just over a month ago, but unfortunately i am in queue for the RTX 3080 and someone from PC team told me that my waiting time might be an additional 2 months as minimum. They are just barely processing the orders from Nov last year.

With that in mind, i am considering replacing the 3080 with a Radeon GPU for the time being. Then when i will be able to get a 3080 at a decent price, to replace it.

Any advice which one would be best for gaming from the ones available on PC website, as listed below:
16 GB Radeon Red Devil RX 6900 XT
12 GB Radeon Red Devil RX 6700 XT
16GB Radeon Red Devil RX 6800 XT
16 GB Asus Tuf gaming RX 6800 XT

These are the ones available without a pre order only quote.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

I would personally go for the Asus

Thanks for the replies guys, they have none in stock, so i opted for no GPU. Found externally a 2080 super at decent price. Going to stick with that until i get my 3080.

PC should be with me hopefully tomorrow.

Hi guys,
I think PC Specialist should reconsider their delivery options...it looks that my PC needs to arrive on a pallet, been sent via Palletways services....and now i am stuck with them keep delaying my delivery. I took already two days off, since no one is at home while i am at work...and now they told by via phone (me always contacting them all the time - i get 0 updates from them), that they might deliver it tomorrow!

It became a joke and i am not laughing at it.

Has anyone else experienced this?
