My laptop has an SPDIF port, which ASIO is picking up, but is not installed as an audio device. I'm just on the normal "Intel 2 Channel High Definition Audio + MIC/Headphone Jack" soundcard, so I was wondering if there is actually support for the port or not. If so, how can I get it recognised?
Moreover, when routing the headphone jack through ASIO it is unavailable as it is 'in use by another application'. I've already disabled exclusivity for the device... so I'm a bit stuck on where to proceed!
EDIT: Updated drivers for another audio device listed in the device manager, a new device for HDMI shows up as 'not plugged in' (I don't have a HDMI cable attached so that's fine). When I disable the speakers, they are then allowed to route through ASIO, but obviously don't work with any other program. Still no SPDIF sound when sending through ASIO.
