Speakers!

With the rig nearly upon me, Im gathering bits..

Logitech Z506 5.1 Speakers, does anybody own a set???

I settled with the onboard 5.1 sound card, I take It I will be able to reap the full surround sound of these speakers?

I also need to know, that with these speakers. Is there a microphone jack? All the reviews I've read, not one tells me!

I don't know about the headphone jack on the speakers, but their will be one on the front of your case so shouldn't cause too many problems?

As far as making use of the surround sound. Yes it should be fine. I presume you have 7.1 onboard audio? Even so it will support the 5.1 audio no problems.

I own a Z523 (2.1) and with the right card (Sound Blaster® Audigy™ SE) and driver (SE to X-Fi Extreme modded driver) they pack on heck of a punch!
The Bass is great and it can go quite loud.

So I'm sure the Z506 should be fine
