I have HDD in the 15.6" Cosmos II but I was wondering if there is a bracket available inside to install a SSD to use as the primary OS drive alongside the HDD??

That chassis only supports 1 x storage drive and 1 x optical drive.

The only way you could add a SSD would be to remove the optical drive and replace it with a SSD.

One option might be to replace the HDD with as SSD and get a caddy for your HDD and use it via usb for storage?

I might just go ahead and take the optical drive out and put in the SSD as on my previous laptop I only burnt 1 CD over its 3 year span and that was to burn a OS to a CD

Well that's certainly an option. You can always grab a USB cd drive just in case you need it, they're fairly inexpensive but if you never use it then you can always leave it until if/when you do need it to get one.

More and more so these days you can survive without an optical drive, I still use mine but with downloading stuff now so popular I agree you could probably live without one.
