SSD are a bit faster than HDD currently yes.

If you have 2 HDD , it does read from the second hard drive so it has to run at the speed of the second hard drive as well.

It depends what you need it for, intel will be releasing some new SSDs soon - so the current price will drop by a few quid, I'm not sure when but if you can wait a little bit longer you can get a bigger SSD card (250GB) for much much cheaper.

One SSD card is better if you use your computer intensively alot. If you only use it a little bit and don't really care much about the speed then it's not really a problem.

if you put it that way its definitely for me but if you have one more HDD would the program on HDD read with the HDD speed or SSD ?

the SSD are a lot more expensive than HDD does it worth with the money difference?

For the time being nah, but, by Feb 2011, it may well start to become worth the money as 160GB intel SSDs (Gen 3) will release, and they will be about the price of the current Gen 2 80gb model by Intel). Quite a large price decrease.
