Got one and have had mixed results. When I first got it, I was in a house with a few others so the network was somewhat crowded. This meant it struggled with maintaining a smooth 60 at 1080p. Though now in a much less crowded network its less of an issue.

I was shocked when I saw the £16 price. Well worth it for that. Any decent local network that isn't actively overloaded should handle at least 720p.

All my tests have been with wired connections between the two devices and router. I imagine wireless would be very sketchy.

Other slightly annoying thing is having a 1440p monitor and 1080p TV so you have to go through all that resolution switching flashy screens etc.

unfortunately until i get a new set of homeplugs (going to need 3 in total) im going to have to stick with the wifi.
Going to try cod waw first, so nothing too demanding on the network.
