Still waiting for despatch

MY experience with PCSpecialist is entirely negative.

I'm now very wary of ordering any more PCs from them

I placed my Order for a desktop machine on 4 March, and my subsequent experience is that the Lead Times quoted on the website are entirely fictitious. The machine has still not been despatched and currently it's still "In Test - Problem".

It's been at that "Official Status" for at least 5 days. It doesnt take that long to resolve a problem with a new PC. as a PC is only a box of assembled interchangeable parts

Have you called them to find out what the issue is? So that's 18 working days, remember weekends aren't working days.

18 working days is still well within their current estimated lead times. If you email them, they will openly admit to you that their current lead times are 3-4 weeks, possibly longer. Keep in mind that we are in the middle of the biggest pandemic of this century and there are currently lockdown measures (the like of which haven't been seen since world war 2) having a great effect.

As above. I really don't know what you expect given the situation at the moment.

As for being a box of interchangeable bits, if it were that easy we'd all be building our own and PCS would be out of business. TBH you should be impressed that PCS are holding it in testing to be certain it's working properly.
