Still Waiting...

I ordered my system on the 29th of September and I am still waiting for my system to move from pre-production.

I contacted customer support after it had been sitting unactive for two weeks and they said they are waiting for a shipment of chassis. Their estimated delivery date for the new chassis is the 27th of October; and they have said they will try to get the system delivered for the next day. what worries me is that they will just skip the two days of quality control and burning in to meet their 30 day garuntee.

Has anyone else have to wait a full month for their system?

Which chassis was it? If its that delayed case then thatd be why. Btw, no doubt itll burn in overnight and following day before dispatch by 4
 
It was the Viper II: 18.4" HD+ LCD Backlit Widescreen (1680x945) Super Clear Glossy

I just hope there isnt any unexpected problems

I guess its inevitable that there are delays on some orders due to stock shortages or faults discovered in testing and QC.
Waiting is ALWAYS the worst part, especially if theres been a delay! But you will be a very happy chappie when it finally arrives!
 
What do pcspecialist do to compensate customers if they are unable to deliver your laptop within the 30 days guarantee. Ive checked my order and contacted support becuase my order is still sitting in pre-production.

We're very sorry for the delay. This has been caused by a delay in the chassis although they will be in to us either tomorrow on Monday, after which we will deliver your order ASAP!

In terms of compensation - we can offer free games packs, please contact our call centre for this. :)
