swiping screen on samsung galaxy s4 life companion page

Hi

Since updating my phone (S4 Samsung) to Android 4.4 KitKat, I use to be able to swipe the phone quickly to get past the (life companion page).

Now I have to move my finger slowly to get past the life companion page.
