Switch from console to PC

Hi All,

I am trying to make the switch from Console to PC mainly for casual gaming so that's why my budget is £600 as I wont make use of anything higher spec. Mainly want to run Farm Sim 19, FIFA 21 things like that not to high end, and wanted to have something small and tidy as I wont to connect to my TV in the living room. What would the below be like for this type of gaming requirements. Over spec'd under spec'd or just about right. Price £550.

You won’t get anything capable at that budget, mini PCs are more expensive than normal PCs and you’d need around £850 for a normal pc.
So even the above you think wont be fit to run those games. As I said wouldn't have to at full settings but just something that you can pick up a play like the console but with all the added extras a PC comes with.

It’s a throwaway pc, you’d have to replace the whole thing after a year or so as it has no room for upgrades, plus the cpu and platform are very weak anyway and would bottleneck.

It’s really a bad idea.

You might as well get one of the new consoles, they are an absolute steal at the prices and will run like a higher end pc

I would but then you have the added features a PC has like mods and scripts Consoles are a closed box when it comes to these things but thanks for the advice @SpyderTracks will stay away from the smaller PC's. Just by chance would you have something in mind for the casual gamer such as myself even if I stretched the budget to say £800 or maybe point me in the right direction.

What about then basic laptop again not bothered about screen size as I can plug into TV, small light handy to store out of the road. I know not easy to upgrade but again just looking to be casual gamer Farm Sim 19, FIFA 21 and not even running at the highest of settings medium to standard would do me ok.

Again, laptops are more expensive than desktops.
