I actually think it's all about money. The world is run by accountants and when they see the expenditure needed to properly secure their systems and zero obvious return on that expenditure they just say no. Everyone is trying to shave their costs to the bone these days and security is something that makes no sense to an accountant. These types of people are a bunch of sad individuals who are only interested in themselves and don't care about the millions of peoples enjoyment .... destructive sad individuals who have no other life but to ruin everyone else's fun for their own greed and inner satisfaction of achieving something in life that they obviously couldn't at school .... maybe clever with computers but probably not much else
have you not heard? Activision had record breaking earning two years in row, followed by laying of 100 peopleI actually think it's all about money. This month's project: How to convince an accountant that the cost of securing your systems is way less than the cost of having them breached?
Answers on a postcard.
No, I didn't know that, but it doesn't surprise me. It's been this way my whole life, I've been made redundant from a very successful IT business because the accountants didn't understand why you need highly skilled and highly paid individuals basically there in case something goes wrong. You can't tell them that something will go wrong eventually and that without us you're screwed (and they were), but it just doesn't register with accountants. The bottom line is their whole world.have you not heard? Activision had record breaking earning two years in row, followed by laying of 100 people
