AMD have been hard at work lately so here is an update on the new range.
BULLDOZER Architecture (Socket AM3+ 32nm) -> ZAMBEZI Desktop CPU (Q3 2011)
LLANO Architecture (Socket FM1 K10* 32nm) -> LYNX Desktop APU (Q2 2011)
------------------------------------------- -> SABINE Mobile APU (Q2 2011)
*modified and upgraded
The former is intended for high end desktop use while the latter is aimed at the low end and mobile markets respectively.
The following socket AM3 motherboards will be compatible with socket AM3+ processors:
BIOS version 3017 or later -

M4A89GTD Pro/USB3
M4A89TD Pro
M4A89TD Pro/USB3
Crosshair IV Formula
Crosshair IV Extreme
