Long story short. My initial budget was a fast mid-range laptop for gaming at around 800-850. However,I simply cannot resist spending another 100 or so to go one step higher. With an I7 quad core, a 670M, a fast hybrid hard drive, this laptop should serve my needs for some years to come. This is also my first order with PCspecialist so I hesitated a bit, but ultimately I decided to trust your (mostly excellent) reviews and I sincerely hope that this will be a right decision.

The price for the spec is absolutely amazing! To get a I7, 670M config with MSI will probably get me into the 1200+ regime with other brands such as MSI. I hope the quality would be equally amazing.

The wait begins !!!OneOneOne.

I can assure you that PC Specialist service and customer support is outstanding, at least from my experience. I recently got a Vortex III 15'6" from them, it cost me 1450 pounds but the performance is amazing. My laptop runs any games I've tried on absolute max without any stutter and I love the look and feel of the laptop itself. Sadly I had to RMA because of a stuck or dead pixel on my screen, it didn't really bother me and was barely noticeable, but considering I paid extra for dead pixel guarantee I figured I might as well take advantage of it. There was a bit of trouble with the RMA, but that was entirely due to DPD and not PCS, they sorted it all out and my laptop is now in their offices, hopefully the RMA won't take too long...I am aching to try out The War Z as I have no other laptop or desktop capable of running...any games at the present time.

tl;dr: You'll love the laptop and PCS.

Quick review:

Computer arrived on-time, on schedule from DPD. The condition of the package is very good.

The build quality is excellent, it is sturdy. The only complaint I have is pcspecialist seems to forget to print the key for the Windows 7 and I had to flip my computer over to read it from the back.

The performance is very good as expected from a I7-3630M and GTX 670M. In addition, the temperature stays very cool. Playing the witcher 2, a very graphically demanding game, for 1 hour on high graphics settings, and the temperature stays below 75 degrees. (an this is just with standard heat paste).

At the moment, I'm very pleased, and if this laptop hold for 2 years without major incidents, I'd definitly buy from pcspecialist again and will recommend to family and friends.

Pictures to follow.
