Thinking of a switching from the 3070 for the 5700xt

Hi all, Iv been thinking of switching the 3070 for the 5700xt because when I rung up yesterday the person I spoken to seem to didn’t even have a clue when more 3070 will be in stock and I haven’t really got the patience to wait weeks on end for a 3070. I will be playing a on a 1440p 144hx monitor (165hz OC) and is the asus tuf x570 plus gaming motherboard a good choice for the 5700xt or should I change the motherboard.

It would be a really bad idea, you’d be buying a 2 year old GPU with far less performance for around the same cost plus it was plagued by driver problems and still is.
