It’s just like any Remote Desktop session, so bandwidth is extremely low actually.

I work for a company that offers desktop as a service, almost any device can connect to it, you can even connect over a browser on a mobile phone if you like. Our only requirement is a minimum of 4g connectivity.

This is where Chrombooks really start coming into their own. I think most mainstream PC's will be of this ilk within 10 years.

Having buttered up with world with Microsoft Office as a service (aka Office365 subscriptions), this was only a matter of time. I fear this trend to rent every product on the cloud could backfire.
