Those games that you just couldn't put down

What games throughout history could you just not put down? The ones where you feared may make your eyes start bleeding and burst your bowels?

A select few of mine have to be:
Spyro the Dragon 3
Banjo and Kazooie
Battle Realms
Quake 3
Unreal Tournament
Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3.
Goldeneye
Super Smash Bros
Resident Evil 4
Fallout 3 (this one gets special mention for almost ruining my degree)
Gears of War 2
Mass Effect 2 (I did the whole game, and all the side quests in a week....)
Starcraft 2.

Starcraft 2 is my current addition, me and a few friends play the multiplayer almost every day at the minute (much to my girlfriend's annoyance) and I absolutely love everything about it.

Resident evil 1,2 and 3. MGS 1,2.

ROME total war + Medieval II total war. All other total wars are nowhere near as good. empire was pants, Napoleon is ok, shogun 2 is ok, but not great.
