I have escalated this upwards to PCS. These fora are not an official support channel but I'm hopeful we'll get a response from PCS.

I contacted PCS via their tech support. They provided these great instructions.

Thanks for getting in touch in regards to updates to the Trusted Platform Module.

First of all, we are going to check the current TPM Version on the system by launching “Run” and then enter tpm.msc. This will bring up the following Window:

tpm1.jpg

Take a note of the manufacturer version (please note that this will likely be different to the one displayed above). If this is 5.62 or higher, there is no need to proceed.

Next, we are going to download the TPM updater. Please go to the following link:

http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=51430756615484927330

Once downloaded, extract the TPM Updater folder and move this to the root directory of the C:\\ like the example below:

tpm2.jpg

Next, shut down the system and upon powering on the unit, tap the F2 key to enter the system’s BIOS utility.

Navigate to the ‘Security’ tab and to the ‘TPM configuration’ option. Then, disable the option for ‘Security Device Support’. This will disable the module, ready for updating.

Once disabled, press the [Esc] key once, navigate to the ‘Exit’ tab and ‘Save Changes and Reset’.

This will reboot the system. Once you are in Windows, press the Start button in the bottom left and type ‘cmd’. Right click on the command prompt option and Run this as an Administrator.

Type the following commands into the console, pressing the [Enter] key between each command:

cd..\..\TPMUpdater\bin
dir

tpm4.jpg

This will list the contents, with several .bat files, like those above. Based on the TPM version that we have taken a note of earlier, we are going to select one of these.

For the example shown in the first image, the current version is 5.51, therefore in this case, the 551_2098_to_562.bat file would be run. As an additional example, if the current version is 5.61.2785.0, “561_2785_to_562.bat would be executed.

Type the bat file, exactly as displayed into the prompt. This will begin the update.

Once completed, close the console, shut down the system and get into the BIOS. Re-enable the TPM and load back into Windows. Finally, to check that this has been updated, run tpm.msc again and the version should now be up-to-date.

My Trusted Platform Module version on my PC-Specialist PC is indicated as "Manufacturer Version 11.6.25.1229. Is that valid for Windows 11?
