Got this working last night.

Left monitor is HDMI. Worked fine.
Right monitor is using the MiniDisplay Port. Needed to go to the BIOS and set the ThunderBolt to Display Only.

Running Pop!_OS using Wayland. Need Wayland to stop screen tearing on the rotated monitor.

I'm not playing intense 3D games, or anything like that, just boring Desktop stuff.

Hi,

Thanks for posting your setup.

The specs are for the laptop are:
USB
1 x Thunderbolt Port (USB-C), 2 x USB 3.1 Port, 1 x USB 2.0 Ports
Display
1 x HDMI, 1 x Mini Display Port

HDMI - self-explanatory
Right monitor using MiniDisplay Port - ThunderBolt to Display Only. Does that mean Mini Display port shares the Thunderbolt Port for output?
I thought the USB-C port doubles as a DP and so you have 2 DP outputs in total.

Looking to drive 1 x 4k screen from the HDMI and 2 x 1280x1024 (USB C + Mini DP) under Windows from the Lafite Laptop and want to know if it is possible.

Thanks

Hi,

Called up PCS and found out the MiniDisplay Port and ThunderBolt-USB are linked so you can use one or the other but not both at the same time.

Also, you cannot mirror the laptop monitor to one external screen and have two other outputs to different screens, so you cannot have 3 external monitors.

I hope this helps future queries like mine.
