TV Card?

WIth the TV cards that you can buy from PCS, do they pick up a signal straight to your PC, or do you need to plug the PC into an aerial cable?

You need to connect to an aerial,or satellite dish depending on the tv tuner you have.the one i got from pcs can only be connected to a sat dish.The one i have in another pc is a triple tuner so can be connected to aerial for analogue & digital tv channels & sat dish for freesat,not sure if pcs supply these,hope that helps.

ok thanks for your info, i was only going to get one as an extra, but wouldnt be able to hook it up to aerial cable, so no point

Why not,not that hard to do,all you really need is the sat tuner then just run cable to your sat dish,supposing it is a sky one or not.depending on what lnb you have on the dish just add an lnb with an extra connection then your rerady go.
