Two windows installations?

Hey guys! Just got my new PC from PCSpecialist yesterday and it's wonderful, so much faster and quieter than my old one! I purchased it with a Samsung 870 QVO and then installed a 980 PRO, and then tried to re-install windows onto the PRO and format the QVO which worked totally fine and I have a working installation of windows on my PRO now (after having to call PCS Tech support because I stupidly didn't know you needed to install GPU Drivers with every windows installation and was worried I'd already bricked my 3080ti).

My issue is that on boot now, I get two choices of windows and have to manually select which to use. I've taken a look in the BIOS and only the one on the QVO shows up there, but I can choose the one on the PRO just fine.

Presuming it's windows 10
once booted unto the OS
Windows Key +R
Type misconfig and hit enter
Navigate to the boot tab
Delete the one you don't want, you can also set one as default instead if your not sure which one it is. You can then reboot and use process of elimination to figure which is which.

Sorry! I should have specified but it's Windows 11, but thank you!

That sorted the problem perfectly!

No worries,
I've no hands on experience with Windows 11 yet so wasn't sure if they had removed or changed anything.

Glad your sorted
