I'm a Mac fan, and can look back on the older models with a slight twinge of nostalgia...but then I remember having to carry it all over Europe on planes...and it was a chunky boi!!!
My first was a Mac SE. Low-res, black & white (sorry 'monochrome') 512x342 display, running System 6, £2000 extra for a 10mb HDD, and £800 for the FPU/co-processor. But it ran all the DTP software we needed at the time, and all the other DOS-based systems were equally expensive and not as popular.
