Untrustworthy USB, keyboard malfunction and now static electricity on a Vortex 3

Hello, was wondering if anyone else has had these problems.
Soon after purchasing my Vortex 3 a usb port has been unpredictable in connecting/randomly disconnecting devices, the left side of the keyboard (caps and tab)often failed to work)(now replaced but annoying that it was malfunctioning anyway) and now what I've been able to confirm that the metallic parts of the laptop esp. the lid often exhibit a static electricity feeling which I'm not comfortable with at all.
I've yet to receive a reply on the last issue and was wondering if anyone else has had similiar problems before email them again?

I did have to replace the keyboard on mine a week or so after receiving it, and it was the left hand side keys that went a bit nuts. But I believe that my damage was as a result of "over zealous" cleaning and not an inherrent fault with the hardware.

And i've never experienced any Static Charge at all from my laptop..
