Upgrading SSD in Laptop

Hi all,

I have recently bought a custom working laptop for use in some gaming but mostly editing. Initially only bought a 256GB SSD with it as at the time that was all I needed, External HDDs got me by.

I am now looking more to upgrading this to a 1TB SSD or, if I can, adding an additional SSD, and have found what I believe would be an appropriate Samsung 2.5" replacement.

It is part of the Optimus 17.5" series, TongFang GK7MR0R (U3E1) motherboard.

Would it be possible to get this SSD upgraded or added? And would I be able to do so at home or with a professional without breaching my Guarantee? Or would the upgrade HAVE to be completed by PC Specialist?
