Hi, new laptop just arrived and after installing all the latest updates etc. I'm encountering a problem with extremely choppy bluetooth audio, like a CD skipping constantly. Happening no matter the range from the device. This is using new fully charged sony wh-1000xm5 headphones. With an aux cable audio all seems fine. Got this laptop primarily for music production and audio editing so hoping can work out what's wrong. Spec below, troubleshooting says no issues with drivers and all latest updates are intalled.
Searching around the forums I've seen a few posts saying that it may be something to do with a loose internal connection between the wifi/bluetooth antenna and the motherboard. So far my guess is this is the likely culprit, but if I open up the laptop I'd have no idea what I'm looking for to secure that connection, so any advice / images on what exactly I'm looking for there would be great, as can't seem to find relevant info on this in the manual.
