guys i keep going to press the order button but keep stopping my myself, i have done research on the net but really cant decide on the processor , everyone seems to suggest intel i5, but i really fancy the amd phemon II x6 1055T. I have been told that the phenom is quiet old now and that i should go for the amd bulldozer, but have read that there is going to be a new version soon. With the processor i will be using 2gb amd 6950 . The more i read the more confused i get please help

i5 wins by miles compared to the 1055T, if you had said the 1100T then the competition would be closer, but at 2.8GHz per core, its well behind

it depends on your uses really my friend. A quad core cpu is better suited towards a gaming pc, only the newer released games use four cores such as bf3, and no games currently use six cores.

if you do loads of cpu intensive tasks a six core cpu may be more suitable.

Personally i'd opt for intel's 2500 or 2600 (no need for K variant, allows easier overclocking, thats it) amd's quad core cpu's are great, but sadly are being phased out.
