Hi

Newbie here, I Would really appreciate some sound advice. I have read a watched YouTube videos and boy has that been enlightening albeit confusing at times when it comes to what is necessary and compatible etc. Generally I will be looking to use for video editing on Davinci resource and potentially in the future adobe premier. I’ve read CPU is important for video editing and GPU important when it comes to overlays and s-effects etc. Trying to keep the cost low but my focus is on a decent motherboard so that if in the future if I need to update the CPU then it is possible with the Gigabyte Z390.

Are the specs below okay.

COOLERMASTER MASTERCASE H500P GAMING CASE
Intel® CoreTM i7 Eight Core Processor i7-9700K (3.6GHz) 12MB Cache
Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Master: ATX, LG1151, USB 3.1, SATA 6GBs WIFI - RGB Ready
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz (2 x 8GB)

1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2.5" SSD, (upto 560MB/sR | 540MB/sW)
512GB INTEL® 660p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (upto 1500MB/sR | 1000MB/sW)
CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIESTM SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

I'd strongly suggest waiting for early July when AMD's recently-announced Zen 2 CPUs hit the shelves. They are likely to be ideal for your uses.

And with that said that is exactly what I am going to do. Done some research and they do look tasty especially 3900x. Many thanks for the advice and now the waiting game (so impatient though).
