Visitor messages - how to get rid of deleted ones

Heya,

I have a query, in the visitor messages section of my profile, it still shows all the deleted messages (I realise these don't show to anyone but myself), but is there any way to get it to not show these to me?

Some of the messages got deleted by the person who sent them, presumably cos he was having a tidy up, but some time after they got deleted I really don't need to know about them and would prefer them not to show up (especially since I don't even get to see what the message was).

When you delete them you have the option to permanently delete them I think.

Hmm, I don't remember seeing a 'permanent delete' option when I deleted one this morning (I accidently replied on my own page rather than where I was meant to be replying ) - it is possible that's only available to mods and admins?

Also, I have no options for other peoples posts that they have deleted on my page, in fact, I've no idea how he deleted them anyway.
