W10 Recovery media and Backup/Restore queries

I've just recently received my Maestro II from PC Specialist and now most of the way through personalising it and copying documents etc from the old PC.

1. Part of my delivery included a PC Specialist Windows 10 Home CD - External Recovery Media.
Please can someone confirm that this is the disc I would use to boot up my system and be able to troubleshoot etc if I were ever I was unable to logon to Windows?

2. Just about to set up my Backup & Restore. Is it best to use File Handling or Backup/Restore . . . . and is One Drive useful or not.

Thanks

EDIT: Forgot to ask which Backup method will also backup my Windows 10 Mail , Contacts etc?

so can i install a brand new copy of windows to my ssd using this cd as i have had the same one?

As far as I'm aware Liam, the Windows 10 Recovery CD that came with your new PC can help you troubleshoot and fix problems with your PC, even if it won't start. It doesn't install a brand new copy of Windows but I'm fairly sure it does allow you to reset W10 from the recovery CD if all else fails.
