Water cooling question

I just bought a machine from here with a AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and a PCS FrostFlow 240 Series for cooling.

So, this is my 1st water cooler and I wanted to gage a reaction on how will this cooler fair with the hardware? and how common are faults with water cooling in general? how do you guy who do water cool find water over air?

Thanks

I would say you really want the H100i Platinum or H115i Platinum on that processor if the H100i is out of stock.

The frostflow won't cut it.

But rather than commenting on individual componenets, if you post your full build then we can go over it.

What's it for?

What's your max budget?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

Monitors are fine, it will be used for editing audio / video and gaming. I'm just worried about the cooling as water cooling is a big fear for me to get into as it would be my 1st time.

Budget wise, I'm already at my max. so any change would need to be minimal

The H100I - is a HUGE strech but it's a shame it is out of stock.
I could move to the H100x easily - but what would be the diffrence between the two units?

But what monitors, it's very hard to comment without knowing specifics.
