I have made something myself but I want to see, including monitor, keyboard and mouse, what can I get for £800. I do game, but the games I play aren't hugely GPU intensive.
I'll post what I came up with in a bit.

Interesting. I had basically the exact same, but with 120g ssd and the slower Sata III HDD. It only costs a few pounds more.
Are you sure the case is worth it?

You need a decent case for a gaming rig and an SSD is not essential

While I'm aware that an SSD is not essential, they would make a big difference. I think I will stick with the slower HDD and SSD, but. I will take your advice about the case.

Ssd is great but you are on a budget i would not compromise in other components to fit one

It would give me 120gb more storage and only a slight change in HDD speed. For only £10 or so, I think it's worth it.

You can add an SSD at any time in the future, you should put the £50 or whatever it costs to a better GPU or CPU or cooler.

The r9 270x benchmarks just under the GeForce 760 which my friend has, which I know for a fact is powerful enough for what I need it for. As for the CPU, I might get a 6350 but intel are too expensive and the eight core processors offer less performance per core, and lots of what I play only takes advantage of one core. I doubt I'd notice much difference between the HDD I chose and the caviar black, if there is a large difference let me know, but for and extra 120gigs of fast storage......

I personally think I should, but you guys seem adamant that I should get a Caviar Black instead. So I'll trust you, plus since I probably won't be able to get this for a while it's possible they might come down in price.

Well as a compromise there is the 1TB drive that has a 8GB SSD built in....not sure how useful that is though.
