What CPU is compatible for upgrade?

Hi,

I'm looking at upgrading my CPU so began researching and figured out its quite complex!! I'm not great at computers especially the actual components inside. If anyone could help me figure out which CPU to upgrade to that would be great. PC is for gaming but looking for a budget/midrange upgrade. Attached a few screenshots of my system.

Hiya, I think it was but I think the account I bought it on was from my old work email which I don't have access to anymore and can't remember the password🤦‍♂️

Without knowing the specs there's not a lot we can do I'm afraid. You'd need to call PCS tomorrow to get your account recovered.

I personally doubt if you'll find any way to upgrade that PC. Unless you replace the motherboard, you'll be very limited in what you can fit as a CPU upgrade. On the second-hand market you might be able to pick up something like an i5 7500, but that's still an old part. I'd be thinking about saving up for a new system, personally, especially as your seems to be an entry-level-ish type of build, and therefore quite hard to upgrade. The most likely upgrade you could do would be fitting an SSD if you're on a hard drive for booting.
