Just over your budget but this would give you a far better experience than an all in one and also the capability to upgrade later (hence the 750W PSU).

I have added my thinking next to the choices below.

Case
FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window) (Budget case with decent airflow)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G Six Core CPU with Radeon™ Graphics (3.9GHz-4.4GHz/19MB CACHE/AM4) (the 10th gen i5 is very out of date now and AMD have better intergrated graphics)
Motherboard
ASUS® PRIME B450-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.1, 6Gb/s) - RGB Ready! (the cheapest I would go)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) (Faster RAM and the price difference is negligable)
Graphics Card
INTEGRATED GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR (GPU)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3000MB/sR, 1600MB/sW) (For your operating system and possibly a few programs)
1st Storage Drive
1TB PCS 2.5" SSD, SATA 6 Gb (520MB/R, 470MB/W) (For storage and games)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET (you could go for the 650W but it would limit future upgrades)
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
Wireless Network Card
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0 (up to date WIFI card)
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System
Windows 11 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence [KUK-00003]
Operating System Language
United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media
Windows 10/11 Multi-Language Recovery Image - Unlimited Downloads from Online Account
Office Software
FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft 365® (Operating System Required)

Monitor
ASUS VP229HE 21.5" (75hz should be ok for your uses but might want to go higher if you play other types of games eg shooters)
Keyboard & Mouse
LOGITECH® MK270 WIRELESS KEYBOARD & MOUSE COMBO
Speakers
LOGITECH S150 2.0 BLACK SPEAKER SYSTEM
Warranty
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (worth it for £5)

Thank you for responding. I have actually sorted another build from elsewhere which seems to suit my needs better. It is an All In One but has the ability to take future upgrades.

All in one is typically going to be a poor choice regardless of where you get it from. The build suggested above is going to be far and away better than any AIO of the same budget.

Thank you for your response. I realise that the experts on here don't seem to like AIO's. I think it suits all my needs. My only worry about an AIO was the lack of upgrade ability but the one I am getting is "Easily Upgradeable and Future Proof" so I am happy with my decision.
If I am wrong I will come back and apologise.

Cheers!

It's not about preference for anyone on here, I love the idea of an AIO.... in practice they prove to be a poor choice. They are effectively a laptop without the portability.

As for "Easily Upgradeable" and "Future Proof"... that sounds like snake oil. Sure, you can probably throw in an SSD or a stick of RAM, but other than that there's not a lot you're going to be able to upgrade.

Absolutely no need to come back and apologise. If you're happy, we're happy. It's not about right and wrong, we just want people to get the best value for their money and be satisfied with their purchase. Sounds like you have the most important aspect already covered so nothing to be sorry about :)

To be fair, it's not so much about the experts not liking AIOs but more about the fact that, most of the time, you can get far better value for money by buying a desktop system.

I would agree that "future-proof" is interesting...even a £4000 top-of-the-line desktop is not guaranteed to be future-proof given how quickly things move on. Future-proof is just sales-speak with very little meaning. How can anyone future proof something without knowing how technology will change or how a person's uses will change?

But, anyway, the main thing is as long as you are happy with your decision and purchase and it fulfills your needs, then the experts here will be happy...all they want is a system that does what a person needs

The blurb says they are an environmentally friendly company so "we made sure that our AIOs could be easily upgraded with new CPUs, extra RAM and storage".
I looked at various options. I would say 95% of my work is done at my dining table so portability was not an issue (I will still have a laptop to use when I go away). An AIO won out over a Desktop because I didn't fancy drilling cable holes in my table. The 27" screen is also a great plus so I believe I have made the right choice for me. Thanks again for your comments.

Just be aware as with any PC, you're limited by the chipset you're on, PCS machines are upgradeable on CPU, RAM and storage also, the point is only to what's possible on that chipset, and because it's an AIO it will be a budget chipset board to restrict power consumption, so you'll be very limited in what you can upgrade.

You won't in 5 years be able to slap on a brand new CPU as it will be a different socket design and won't be compatible for instance. Likewise with the RAM, you won't be able to slot in DDR5 which is the new spec RAM as it physically won't fit on the board.

That's where "futureproofing" is a bit of a phallacy. It's more important to make the right platform at the outset as upgrades of the platform aren't really feasible outside of RAM quantity and drives.
