Have you already received the workstation, or just placed the order?

What the budget for the monitor?

The PC is possibly a waste of money. I'd suggest you post the full spec and budget as there may be something with better performance for the same money (specifically something based around the 9900k). If it's not urgent, cancelling the order and waiting for 7th July when Zen 2 releases is probably the smarter move.

For £150 for the monitor, just buy anything with an IPS screen. If you could go to ~£200 or so for the monitor, something 1440p with an IPS screen.

https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/SOLIDWORKS-2019-Intel-CPU-Performance-1347/ (may go for Revit too)

For quite a few uses, a 9900k on the Z390 motherboards would give better performance at a lower price.

Also AMD's Zen 2 CPUs are likely to outperform Intel's Skylake X CPUs and they release on 7th July. I'd cancel the order and wait for Zen 2. If spending this much on the system, makes sense to get the best you can for it.

I'd suggest making a new topic as it's a bit different from Jasalo's case :)

Make a new topic with what you are looking for, what you will be using it for, your budget, and the spec of the PC you're pairing it with, and people can suggest things
