What will be faster?

Now I know people have been waiting for like 3 months for the 3080 and but CPU stocks are also low. Just configured a PC with the 5950x. My question is, will it be faster to order this now or wait for the 11900k as stocks for that will be fresh. (I do know that the 5950x is going to be better than the 11900k). Not going to be changing the 3080 though.

Here is the build: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-gen3-pc/P92RepkvBv/

Thanks in advance!

No one here can really tell you and only PCS will have details of when they are expecting stock in of components

Any comments here will usually just be speculation on what that person has read / found out and the only true way is to get it from the horses mouth themselves and ask PCS directly.

As @andjef796 said, we won't be able to tell you, only PCS will. On your spec, there's a couple things I'd change without knowing your uses, budget or monitor specs. If you could provide them we could help more, although this does look like a very strong build.

I'd recommend dropping the thermal paste, the Corsair AIO already comes with good quality themal paste and spend it on an extra 100W of power for only £3 and the Silver warranty, well worth it for £5 then spend the £1 on a McDonalds McFlurry 😂

Yeah I did have the corsair 850w one selected before and also no thermal paste. Added it now as I thought this cooler might not have good quality thermal paste but thanks for confirming that it does. Might consider the silver warranty if it really is worth it for £5. Might have to pass on the McFlurry though lol. Thanks for the replies both of you.

The Corsair AIO's are very high quality and I'd always recommend if the budget allows. Personally I think the Warranty upgrade is worth it and we recommend it on all the builds, It'll cover collect and return for a year instead of a month, in case you have issues in the first 12 months.

Your pc has problems after first month you would have to pay carriage costs to ship it back to pcs shipping somthing of that weight and size will cost more then £5 so would highley recommend the silver warrenty theres quite alot of new tech in your build so best be on safe side there should be no issues but you never know !

If you already ordered and waited 30 days..Wouldnt you have to cancel and make a brand new order? Because you would have to reconfigure the entire setup. (Compatability intel, amd) I think this will reset your queue position.

I think hes just at the ordering stage and he is thinking should I go amd now or wait intel but if he did order he would have to cancel the order to switch from amd to intel and vice versa
